Description

The Wonder of Math is one of our online workshops in the Re-Imagining Mathematics series.

This is our first all-grades workshop to be available on line. For years, Jamie York has traveled with his Re-Imagining Math roadshow to bring the good word of meaningful math to teachers and parents across the globe. This workshop was recorded at the Washington Waldorf School in 2015. There are just over five hours of content. You will learn more about Jamie’s very consciously crafted math curriculum that encourages problem-solving and critical and creative thinking capacities.

Note that this workshop differs from our grade-specific Art of Teaching Math workshops in that it gives a general overview of Jamie’s philosophy and focuses on different grades to offer examples of how we can teach math more effectively.

Our hope is that this workshop will allow you to perhaps reshape your relationship to math and how you teach it. The workshop is intended to be completely accessible to people of all levels including those who specialize in math and those who are math phobic.

We provide all participants with free downloads.
