Juan Pablo is back for a second year at Jamie York Academy
Juan Pablo Barillas, Jamie York Academy’s dynamic and creative Spanish teacher shares some of the highlights of his previous teaching year and looks forward to the year ahead. His homeschool students not only learned Spanish, they learned Guatemalan recipes, studied and created poetry, and even put on a play.
We only offer programs when there is a need in the community and a teacher we know can do a superior job teaching. Our Spanish program for homeschoolers is exciting and practical, taught by a native speaker who is also a Waldorf teacher. We’re thrilled to have Juan Pablo back on board for another year!

When Can we Join?
Your child can join a class at any point in the year. We will assist them to make sure there is a smooth transition into our program. We have yearly and monthly payment options available.
