Dates for 4-week course:
Nov 04 to Dec 06, 2024 (with one week break Nov 23 – Dec 01)

Times for Live Sessions:  Monday through Thursday.  Each live session lasts between 50 and 70 minutes.  Please note that all times are given in Mountain Time (MT), which is two hours behind ET, and one hour ahead of PT.

Course Description

7th-grade students will embark on a captivating journey through the fascinating world of
Physics. This immersive Main Lesson block will guide them through the mysteries of
Acoustics, Optics, Electricity, and Mechanics, making complex concepts tangible through
hands-on experiments and creative projects. Students will explore the science behind sound,
light, energy, and motion, laying a strong foundation for future scientific inquiry and
discovery.


This experience will be filled with exciting challenges and imaginative projects that bring
learning to life. From designing their own musical note systems to constructing a camera
obscura, building electrochemical batteries, and experimenting with pulleys, students will
engage with physics in a way that sparks curiosity and deepens understanding. The
real-world applications of these activities will inspire students to see the science around
them, turning everyday moments into opportunities for exploration and wonder.

If you register your student for a science program and live outside the US, we will send you an invoice for an additional $30-$50 for your science kit shipping, depending on your location.
